How to Use Balanced Comparison

How to Use Balanced Comparison

Test two different designs by using the Balanced Comparison function in Insight Core.

About this course

In this lesson, we show you the Balanced Comparison function.

Balanced comparison is useful when you are showing participants 2 different designs, such as Variant 1 and Variant 2 or Your Design and Your Competitor’s design.

The benefit of balanced comparison is that it alternates the first design that each participant sees, in order to eliminate some of the order effects of participants always seeing Design 1 before Design 2.  This is also referred to as “counterbalancing” the order of the designs.
