Learn the fundamentals of organizing your content and collecting feedback on that organization.

About this course

The organization of content in our designs is referred to as the Information Architecture, or “IA”.

Some designs contain a lot of content, such as:

  • Many different products for purchase
  • Informational topics -- such as help content
  • Or functional areas -- such as account management features.

The main components of an Information Architecture are the grouping or categories of content, the hierarchy of those categories, and the labels you use.
